If you’re anything like me, you look at a lot of recipes. So it’s always great to find a new tool for finding, organizing and sharing great recipes. So today I wanted to write to call your attention to the recipe sharing site called Yummly, because Cooking Chat is now publishing on Yummly.
You can add a Yummly bookmarklet to your browser to make it easy to save recipes to Yummly as you browse the web. You can organize the recipes you save into different collections. As you start adding recipes, the site will generate recommendations about other recipes you might like. I need to start using the collections feature more. So far I’ve been mostly saving recipes I like onto one big collection on Yummly, and just recently started a collection focused on recipes from here on Cooking Chat.
If you’re a food blogger like me, you definitely want to get involved with Yummly. I’ve been using it for a few months, and it’s already right up there in my top referral sites, and growing. Details on how to publish on Yummly can be found over here. In addition to helping people find their way to your tasty recipes, Yummly also generates nutritional info for your recipes, which is pretty handy.
Ok, I think I’ve covered the Yummly highlights I wanted to share. Stay tuned for more tasty recipes here…and on Yummly!
