Today’s guest

AnnaBelle introduces herself to us below in her own words:
I’m AnnaBelle, Minnesotan by birth and now a Minnesotan by choice! The unique seasons of Minnesota never fail to captivate me, sparking inspiration as each season unfolds.
Wanderlust seems to be in my DNA. I’ve always felt a deep urge to explore new places and cultures, making travel an essential part of who I am. So far, I’ve journeyed to 35 states and 14 countries, and all before having my child, I had lived in two states and three countries. Through my travels, I discovered the joy of eating locally and learning from the people who call each place home.
Back in 2004, a co-worker introduced me to a local farmer who delivered shares of fresh produce to our workplace each week. It was part of something called a CSA—Community Supported Agriculture. I was intrigued. Fresh, peak-season produce delivered straight to us, without the need for trips to the grocery store to buy items that had traveled miles. I was all in!
Since then, I’ve learned to cook with veggies I’d never heard of, how to avoid waste, and how to preserve meals to enjoy during the long Minnesota winters. That small CSA delivery over 20 years ago sparked my adventure with seasonal produce.
And here I am today, excited to share everything I’ve learned with you. From tips and tricks to lessons learned the hard way, my passion for Minnesota’s seasons shines through in my food, travels, art, and design.
Stick with me, and I’ll teach you the secrets behind my successes, sharing the stories (and missteps) that brought me here.
Enjoy the season you’re in, while dreaming of the meals to come.”
