With New Year’s Eve approaching, we thought it would be a great time to revisit our conversation with Robert Russell from Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery. This local winery in Southeastern Massachusetts produces a wide range of wines suited to our climate, but they are especially well known for their bubbly. Cheers!

I’ve been focusing on Westport Rivers Vineyard & Winery over the past month as New Year’s Eve approaches.

I had a chance to get down to Westport a few weeks ago to taste some of their latest wines and pick up my wine club allotment.

To pair with the Westport Rivers RJR Brut sparkling wine, I came up with a tasty recipe for Brie Crostini and Roasted Garlic. That would certainly be a great choice for a New Year’s Eve appetizer pairing!

For more information on Westport Rivers, check out the show notes from our original release of the conversation with Robert Russell. This article has some good tips for Visiting Westport Rivers Vineyard along with background on the family owned winery.
