French Red Wine

French red wine covers a lot of ground, from big Bordeaux blends to lighter, food-friendly Beaujolais and lesser-known bottles from the Rhone, Languedoc and Alpine regions. Below are French red wine pairings I’ve tested with real dishes at home, along with some background on these wines and the regions they come from.
